Honesty and Business Ethics.
Have you ever been in a
situation that compromised your ethics? I guess yes, most of us had been in
that situation. In the rare case that your answer came to be negative, I would advise
you to choose right now what to do, because, at one or another point in life,
you will face the situation.
This week as you can see, we talked
about honesty and business ethics in class. How essential this is not only for
business but for life as well. I enjoyed the differences in the world.
Differences in speaking, thinking, acting, believing, and more. It makes the
world reach diversity. If I can give you some advice, it would be, to be honest
always and clean. I had been on both sides, and I can tell you that being
honest with God, yourself, and others does not compare with any treasure in
this world.
I would like to share the
formula for success that I learned this week.
1. Get up early
2. Work hard
3. Get your education
4. Find oil
5. Make your mark
6. Prepare to serve/give back
I want you to remember this
formula because I want you to succeed in life. If you follow the formula, you
will find success.
Now, I will describe some of
the points. Get your
education. Keep learning,
remember that knowledge will make you free, so please keep discovering new
skills and abilities. Find
oil. Look for opportunities
to work. Find new clients and, why not, make new investments. One of the
speakers this week shared about the importance of knowing your clients face to
face and making connections. Remember if things go wrong, try again but try to
see what can be done differently. You can be successful, I trust you, remember
the formula.
The last thing I want to share
is that we are not alone. God cares so much about us. Trust in him and look for
his advice. You got this.
