The Process of Becoming
During this week, I learned that
hierarchy benefits companies in making choices and that only by encouraging
change and experimentation can companies of all sizes adapt and grow in the
midst of much uncertainty. But what I like the most is to think of myself as
someone that can do great things and much good. I want to take the challenge to
go big, dream big and pursue my goal.
I am working on my thoughts; I
think I am the number one saboteur of my work. I can see so much good in
the work of others, in their personalities, but when it is about me, I am so
harsh. The good thing is that now I can see it. It is part of changing it. It
hasn't gone, I still have thought of discouragement, but then I recognized that
I am not perfect, I am learning, and there are things that others like about me
and my work, and I choose to trust them.
I want to spend 20% of my day pursuing
my big dream. The thing is that I like to learn so many things, which is not
bad; I think. But I will start with one at a time. 3 hours is 20% of one day.
To make it happen, I will start early in the morning. I want to spend 1 hour in
the morning. 1 in the afternoon and 1 in the evening. At the end of one month,
I will measure what has been accomplished and what else is need it. From today
to the end of the year, if I keep my perseverance and spend 20% of my day, I
will see great results; I am sure about that.
The last thing I want to talk
about is what Elder Oaks stated in his talk, "The Challenge to
Become." October 2000. The idea of becoming Heavenly Father is not only
through the gospel but also through the work I do as an entrepreneur is
amazing. Secular and spiritual things will help me to accomplish what God sees
in me. I need to balance all aspects and see the transformation I will have if
I let it happen through obedience. It is amazing because just as spiritual
knowledge is so interesting, I also like to learn from the world and others.
The plan of Happiness is perfect, and I am part of it. I will do my part and
help others that are willing to do their part as well.
I am willing to start my
process of becoming.
